How much does a home euthanasia cost?
Monday to Friday

$960 – Emergency Overnight (10PM – 7AM) & all times on Public Holidays
Other Charges
For public holiday (all day/night) and emergency overnight (10pm-7am any day) appointments where a vet is able to attend, an additional $150 charge applies in addition to normal After Hours pricing
Transfer of pets for cremation by your attending vet is $70 . If collection by one of our crematorium partners is required addditonal charegs will apply.
In the rare instance where multiple pets are being put to sleep together, additional pets are charged at $300 per additional pet. For bookings for multiple pets, please contact our team on 1300 799 452
Cancellations and changes
Bookings cancelled more than 60 minutes before the start of the arrival window incur an administration fee of $20. If your pet has passed away naturally, you will receive a full refund.
For cancellations or changes made within 60 minutes of the start of the arrival window, a fee applies to compensate the veterinarian for their time and travel:
- Weekdays, 8am–6pm: $100
- Weekdays, 7–8am and 6–10pm; weekends, 7am–10pm: $150
- Public holidays, and overnight 10pm–7am: $200
If your pet has passed away naturally, the fee within this 60-minute period is $100 at any time.
If your pet has passed away and our veterinarian collects them and transfers them for aftercare, a collection and transfer fee applies instead:
- Weekdays, 8am–6pm: $160
- Weekdays, 7–8am and 6–10pm; weekends, 7am–10pm: $220
- Public holidays, and overnight 10pm–7am: $260
If the veterinarian attends and you decide not to proceed with euthanasia, a home visit and consultation fee of $220 (weekdays, 8am–6pm), $350 (early mornings, evenings and weekends) or $460 (public holidays and overnight) applies. Any agreed travel fee also applies in each case above.

Private Cremation
Private cremation with the return of your pet’s ashes and a selection of memorial options are available at additional cost from $390. Click here to learn more about our available aftercare options in your area.
Companion Cremation
Companion cremation is available for just $190 if you do not wish your pet’s ashes to be returned. Alternatively, if you wish to organise your own cremation service or bury your pet at home and have the ability to do so (please be aware of your local council regulations), we can leave your pet in your care.
